Bomb sniffing dog with COD Jeep

I took this shot of Samson as he was checking out the Call of Duty Jeep Wrangler at the 2011 North American International Auto Show in Detroit Michigan. The State Police offer this service to ensure a quiet event.

Classic art produced introducing the Jeep vehicle to the masses as a versatile Farm vehicle with a multitude of capabilities. Love the addition of a farm dog looking at the artist.

Loyal as a Dog

The Jeep vehicle during World War II was often compared to a loyal dog.

Scripps Howard WWII reporter Ernie Pyle once said, "It did everything. it went everywhere. Was as faithful as a dog, as strong as a mule, and agile as a goat. It constantly carried twice what it was designed for and still kept going."

Jeep Video: Every Dog Has it's Jeep 4x4

Once you taste the joy of wind-in-your-hair freedom you'll do anything to experience it again. Apparently that applies to man's best friend as well. This clever video exploits the lengths a faithful dog will take to get back in the passenger seat again.

Video created by the Cummins Ross Agency: Directed by David (aka The Legend) Denneen. Produced by Anna Fawcett. Check out the high-res version here. You're sure to get a chuckle :)

President Reagan with "Victory" in back seat of Jeep CJ-6

Great image of President Reagan with his dog "Victory" sitting in the back of his CJ-6 Jeep 4x4. The image was taken on 4/21/1984 just after President Reagan finished up clearing some brush at Rancho del Cielo.

Photo courtesy of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, National Archives and Records Administration.

Come On, Let's Take This One!

Looks comfy in the custom CJ seats. Make sure to harness him in when you get on the road.

Thanks KarmenRose for posting to the Flickr Jeep Dogs Group.

"The boys ready for a ride home after their romp in the park. The back of the Jeep was still full of compost from New York City Compost Project's Give Back Program and Diana didn't come to the Park, so the pugs got to ride up front."

Great to see a dog harness put into practice. Allow the dogs to fully experience the ride without taking the drivers concentration away from the road. Looks like he was enjoying the full open-air experience in this YJ. Thanks kodisnonnie for posting!

"This dog is so cool. I was in the car behind watching him. He was loving the ride! (It looked like he was strapped in very well)"
